Play Therapy
Weekly, one-to-one play therapy sessions with a trained therapist, each session lasting 45 minutes each. These sessions provide a safe space for children to express emotions and process mental health issues. If they are processing trauma play therapy allows children to do so at their own pace. If working with a child with complex trauma, we would expect to be working long-term for, ideally, a minimum of 30 sessions. Both therapists are trained PTUK therapists (Play Therapy UK) and TraumaPlay™ practitioners. TraumaPlay™ is a play therapy model for treating children who have experienced trauma based on attachment theory, the neurobiology of trauma and play, and evidence-based treatments.

CPD Training
We can create bespoke CPD training programmes on a range of topics including what play therapy is and how it works, the neurobiology of trauma, trauma responses and how to soothe a distressed child.
"It was so wonderful to have you with us before the break, I cannot thank you enough for the gentle and warm, trauma informed way in which you provided the training to our creche team. You created such a safe space and everyone so clearly enjoyed the session, finding it both informative and providing some real reassurance and tangible steps on how to grow in supporting the children they care for." Caregiver Support Groups
We can provide a range of groups for caregivers to support their wellbeing, to help them to reflect on their own emotional triggers, to gain insight about their children’s needs and to equip them with practical tools that nurture their children’s emotional health.
